Back in the day, I remember being handed the beautiful bouquet of yellow flowers that were picked with such intent and love. I would always take a big smell and say how beautiful and my heart was full. Today is National Dandelions Day. I know I know they are troublesome little buggers but the dandelions have so many positive aspects. They of course are the perfect picking and giving flower of small children, you can make dandelion wine or have dandelion salad. They can bring a sense of peace and calm as you watch dandelion seeds gliding across the breeze not to mention the joy it brings when a full seeded dandelions are blown. Dandelions are a perennial plants that are known to endure harsh conditions and are all over the world! The dandelions are kinda like Coca Cola you know the song I’d like to buy the world a home and furnish it with love, grow apple trees and honey bees and snow white turtle doves… You know where I am going with this… a lawn full of dandelions on your home lawn….. It’s the REAL THING!!!
