Lung Cancer is by far the deadliest cancer, yet only 8% of Minnesotans who are eligible for lung screening actually get screened. Inevitably, this means that many people are walking around with lung cancer, unaware. Lung Cancer only has a 23% five-year survival rate so early detection is key. I have been personally seen and felt the effects of lung cancer through my brothers ultimate battle and loss earlier this year. He truly fought a valent battle. In his honor, I encourage everyone to participate in the Breath of Hope’s statewide screening campaign that will hopefully drive Minnesotans to online eligibility quiz at www.MNScreens.org Did you know that currently, 74% of lung cancer cases are found in stage 3 or 4? Check out this quiz online and see if you are eligible to get screened for this potentially life-saving screening.
