Okay so yesterday was Ground Hog Day and if you haven’t heard, Punxsutawney Phil is a nasty little rodent. That’s right, according to legend if Phil sees his shadow six more weeks of winter is to come…  Uggh… I can’t believe how disappointed I am in this groundhog…  I am definitely three days past my tolerance of this winter…

As for today, it is National The Day the Music Died Day. Today we remember the unfortunate and untimely death of singers 22-year-old Buddy Holly, 17-year-old Ritchie Valens, and 28-year-old J. P. Richardson, aka: “The Big Bopper.”  These three artists died in an airplane accident on February 3, 1959, near Clear Lake, Iowa. Their pilot, Roger Peterson, also perished in the crash.

Don’t forget it is also National Carrot Cake Day too… I mean you get to eat cake and count it as a veggie too!!! Life is good!!!
