Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reported 7 calls from February 6th to February 8th. A deputy conducted a probation check and a traffic stop. Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in Jackson, assisted the Fairmont Police Department with a Harassment Restraining Order investigation, Stevens County with a theft investigation and took a report of a theft of items from an abandoned farm place, which remains under investigation. You’re invited to the Winter Thaw Community Appreciation Event on Saturday, February 14th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Heron Lake Community Center.
