The Windom Women of Today have kicked off the 2025 Windom United Drive, setting this year’s fundraising goal at $20,000. Organizers stress that the Windom United Drive is not affiliated with the United Way instead, it’s a local effort to support community needs right here at home. Donor cards are available at Bank Midwest, the Windom Area Chamber Office, United Prairie Bank, and Leading Edge Credit Union. Residents are encouraged to “Show Windom Cares” by filling out the card and designating how their contribution should be divided among community organizations. There are 23 charities listed on the card, along with a write-in option. Donations to listed organizations must be at least one dollar, and any write-in charity must receive at least 20 dollars in pledges to be included. Those who do not have a preference on where their donation goes can simply return the card with their contribution.
Donations may be mailed to:
Windom United Drive, P.O. Box 222, Windom, MN 56101 or dropped off at Bank Midwest.
The Women of Today remind the community that if everyone gives a little, together “we can make a big difference.”
