The Eagles advanced 16 athletes (7 girls and 9 boys) to next week’s Section 2A Meet at Mankato, highlighted by a trio of sub-section championship performances and five second-place silver-medalist finishes.

Sub-Section runner-up performances included Lilly Meyer in the girls discus throw, Elliot Serreyn in the high jump, Ogeka in the long jump and a pair of relay finishes by the boys. The all-sophomore team of Bryce Green, Caelen Ralston, Isaac Bordewyk and Lyons claimed second in the 4 x 800 and the foursome of Ogeka, Green, Lyons and Bleess advanced with a very close second-place finish in the 4 x 400.
