The Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association Summer Tour is Tuesday, July 15th in Little Falls, Minnesota. Registration is now open with Early Bird Registration ending on June 24th. $25 per person with Students at $10. The tour includes several notable stops including Barrett Petfood, Kaiser Farms, Sprole’s Angus Farm, Laugen Cattle Company, Zappala Farms LLC. These stops will provide attendees with a comprehensive view of modern cattle farming practices. MN State Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on the 25th at 2:50pm west of Worthington in Nobles County. A 2014 Dodge Ram pulling a camper was traveling east bound on Interstate 90 while a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox was also traveling east bound and the two vehicles collided. The Ram was driven by a 55-year-old man from Chatfield, and he had three passengers which no one sustained injuries, and all were wearing seat belts. The Driver of the Equinox a 37-year-old female from Bridgeport CT and her 29-year-old female passenger of Worthington were both were transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center with what was thought to be non-life-threatening injuries, and both were wearing seat belts. Outside Agencies assisting were Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Nobles County Sheriff’s Office and Sanford Ambulance.
