Are you aware of that there are actual pickleball courts up at the Windom Recreation Area now and they are looking even better. At the Windom City Council meeting on the 6th the Council accepted a donation from Windom Area Health for $1,899. In the resolution it stated that the money was to be used for the purchase and installation of nets and additional striping for the pickleball court. Windom Area Health is always encouraging the community to get out and get healthy and be more proactive in maintaining an active lifestyle. I was telling my boy Nate, about this and talking about Pickleball and how I wanted to give it a go. Nate was so excited and told me that it is an excellent way to get out and get moving without hurting yourself because you move but it isn’t high impact but yet it is still a lot fun and gives you that competitive game you crave… or not!!!
