The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office reported a fatal crash on the 12th at approximately 8:39pm. According to Redwood County Sheriff’s Office press release their office received information on a driving complaint on a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado that was reported to have driven in and out of the ditch on CSAH 4 near CSAH 6. While attempting to locate the reported vehicle, a State Patrol Trooper located a pickup truck that appeared to have left the roadway and crashed in a field near the intersection of 140th St and Garden Ave. The State Trooper determined that the driver was not breathing and did not have a pulse at the time of discovery. Lifesaving efforts were attempted, however, the male driver, identified as Randall Fleshner age 54, of Lamberton, was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel. It is believed that the driver was not wearing a seat belt, which contributed to the severity of the injuries. Assisting on scene were the Lamberton Ambulance, Lamberton Fire Department, Centra Care Ambulance, and North Memorial Air Care.
