The Fulda Wood Duck Festival continues for its final day on Sunday. Uttech gives an update on what you can enjoy on Sunday at the Fulda Wood Duck Festival… 

Fulda Wood Duck Festival Sunday fun also includes button drawings, raffle drawing, and a 50/50 “Split the Pot” in the Fulda City Park.


Mountain Lake Pow Wow events continue Saturday with the Pow Wow tractor cade, Mayor’s bike trail ride, disc golf tournament, and live music & beer garden. Sunday’s Pow Wow events start at 8am with a pancake breakfast at the city park, Father’s Day buffet at The Den from 10am-1pm, 3 on 3 basketball tournament at noon, the 50th annual Pow Wow Road Race at 3pm, kiddie parade at 5:30pm, antique car & tractor parade & show at 6pm, plus many more activities.

Lakefield Summerfest continues this weekend. Some of Saturday’s events include a Belgian waffle breakfast, Summerfest Golf scramble, car show, music in the park, parade, bean bag tournament, kids tractor pull, minnow races, live music and fireworks. Sunday’s events include a pancake breakfast, community church service and the Lakefield Mites at the baseball diamonds. Murray and Pipestone County Cattlemen Associations will be hosting the Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Summer Beef Tour and Trade Show July 17th and 18th.  There will be a tour of eight different farm stops in Murray and Pipestone counties, highlighting the cutting edge in beef production. You can get a discount for registration if you register by June 18th at mnsca.org.Tour headquarters will take place in the spacious and well-equipped Cattle Barn at the Pipestone County Fairgrounds. LSS Meals in Windom and Mountain Lake are closed on Monday, June 19th for the Juneteenth holiday. There won’t be dining at the meal sites or Meals on Wheels on Monday, June 19th.
