March 9th marks a couple of pretty cool National Days… Like it is National False Teeth Day, or Meatball Day, National No Smoking Day or a couple of my favorites.. It is National Barbie Day… In 1959 Barbie made her debut at the American International toy Fair in New York. Barbie was designed by Ruth Handler, the co-founder of Mattel, Inc. Did you know Barbie was created to allow girls to imagine what their lives could be like in the future. She’s had a slew of careers, from a registered nurse to an astronaut. In 1961 her boyfriend Ken was introduced.
If you really don’t think that National Barbie day is newsworthy… Just get over it!!! After all today March 9th is also National Get over it day!!! This national day was established in 2005 and just as it implies, the day is to exactly that, GET OVER IT!!! “It may be a variety of things, it could be as small as spilled milk or traffic or poor grades or an argument with a friend or co-worker… Today allows you to Get Over It!!!
