Valentines Day and being Healthy don’t usually go hand in hand when you consider all the calories from those dirty martinis that you’re throwing back can start to add up. Especially when combined with all the chocolate and other treats you be partaking in. According to Nora Tobin, nutrition specialist and performance enhancement and executive coach, you can indulge and still put a healthy twist to your celebration. Changing up those dirty martinis for a Clean cocktail can keep you healthy and energized no matter how long the night lasts.

Tobin states that there are three main benefits to clean cocktails:

  • # 1- Immune Strengthening
Despite the common belief that cold weather itself makes you sick, it in fact does not. The cold weather adversely impacts how your body handles cold viruses. Cranberries naturally contain high levels of vitamin C and phytonutrients to fight free radicals and lower inflammation. Making the Cranberry Sauced clean cocktail an excellent choice for those looking to stay healthy leading up to date night!
  • # 2- Beauty boosting
Whether it’s the first date or you’re celebrating your 20th wedding anniversary, we all want to look our best. Pomegranates contain B6, potassium and polyphenols that are essential for cellular turnover. This results in the brightening of skin and strengthening of hair. The Beauty Bubbles clean cocktail should definitely be on your menu coming up to this valentine’s day.
  • # 3- Fat burning
Nobody likes to have a “muffin top” when trying on their favorite outfit, even less when we’re trying to look sexy. So instead of reaching for the whiskey and cola, the ingredients in the Vacay Ready clean cocktail fiber in the blood oranges slows down blood sugar spike and regulates digestion!

Drinking responsibly is the most important aspect to staying safe and healthy. But if you are ready to up the stakes and improve your health, try looking up and learning more about the cool and clean cocktail recipes for this Valentines Day.
