Today is Hug a Bear Day this day is observed Every year on November 7th. You are not advised to go out and embrace real bears on this day; it will be exceedingly risky and might not end well. Hug a Bear Day was designed to raise awareness about the advantages of hugging. We all need hugs. Hugging can make us feel warm, comforted, and, most importantly, loved. National Hug A Bear Day is the ideal time to give a big hug to your loved ones and your adorable teddy bears. I still have the teddy bear my grandpa gave me when I was 5 years old. He is a little tattered and he wears my grandpa’s spectacles now, but my old bear is the most loved and hugged bear around. This bear of mine when presented to me was hugged by My grandpa and then given to me with him saying… Now Laura this is magical because no matter where I may be, this hug is permanent. When you hug this bear, it is actually me hugging you and I want you to know everything, and I mean everything will always be okay. My grandpa never lied to me and still to this day over a half century later, I STILL feel his love whenever I hold that bear!
