Keep your eyes open and watch for all the people riding their bikes today! It is National Bike to School and Work Day. I can’t get my bike off the ceiling in the garage, it is just a bit too high for me, so I can’t celebrate by doing, but I can cheer on all those that decide to take the opportunity to enjoy the ride with the wind in their faces or at their backs! I think I must be hungry… again… stress can do that to you, BUT I am thinking maybe if I celebrate National Mushroom Hunting Day I can be out in nature and get some yummy shrooms in the process… I have to be honest, I have no idea what I am doing, and I probably will go for a walk look for mushrooms take a picture with my camera and then in the end go to HyVee and buy some because number one I love mushrooms and number two, the way my life is, there is no doubt I’d end up picking and eating the poisonous ones and the naughty ones because that’s just my life… I’ve come to accept it and I like taking pictures! My mouth is watering because not only will I have mushrooms for dinner, I am bound by the celebration of National Days.. It’s National Cherry Cobbler Day… Is your mouth watering??? I no longer qualify for National Pack Rat Day which is also today because moving my Mother out of her Independent Living Apartment into Assisted Living showed me the value of decluttering and just not saving all those “precious” moments from 40 years ago… I found I did not know half of the people or places in her pictures and had really no desire to take her treasures to my house to hold onto… If you are listening boys… All I really have is the Grandfather Clock…
