January Weather Stats 2/1/24
The monthly weather statistics have been reported for the city of Windom in January. The information is compiled by Dave Fjeld, the local weather observer and reported to the National Weather Service Office in Sioux Falls. January precipitation, which includes rain and melted snow, was just 56 hundredths’ of an inch. That compares to one and 79 hundredths in 2023. Snowfall amounts are substantially less than 2023. In January we received 5.8 inches compared to 18.3 inches in 2023. The high temperature in January was 52 degrees on the 29th. Our low for the month was 14 below on January 14th. The average high was 24.5 degrees and the low averaged just 11.6 degrees.

BUT I have to say that Today marks even a more important day… It is National Tator Tot Day!!! Who knew?!!!! BUT guess who is celebrating???
