Deputies were called for 2 concerns for Welfare, had 7 animal calls, conducted 18 Civil Processes, served 2 warrants, had one terroristic threat, and had 5 traffic stops. The City of Windom Staff, Planning Commission and Bolton & Menk Consultants have reviewed and drafted proposed revisions to Chapters 151 and 152 of City Code. The proposed revisions of the land use code review and proposed amendments are available for review on the City of Windom’s website www.windom-mn.com or during normal business hours at City Hall located at 444 Ninth Street or at the Windom Public Library. The Minnesota Twins are offering Free Hats to anyone with a 2023 Minnesota fishing or hunting license. Individuals with a fishing or hunting license can receive a free special edition orange Minnesota Twins logo cap and a ticket discount from the Twins, through a partnership between the Twins and the Minnesota DNR. There will be a DNR Day once a month throughout the season on Friday May 26th, Tuesday June 13th, Sunday July 23rd, Saturday August 19th and Saturday September 9th.
