EDA Executive Director

The City of Windom is accepting applications for the position of EDA Executive Director. This position is responsible for administrative and professional work promoting, facilitating, and coordinating development activities for the City. Windom’s current major projects include attracting users to the industrial park, support major employers & downtown businesses, marketing of a new residential subdivision, and grant writing.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in finance, real estate, marketing, economics, local and urban affairs, or a related field. Experience in community/economic development is desired or emphasis on finance, real estate, and marketing. Comparable experience may be substituted for the minimum educational or work requirements at the option of the EDA Board and the Windom City Council.

Salary range is $86,986 to $108,742. Starting salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
