City Administrator informed the board members of what steps are going to be taken for advertising and options that will be looked at in response to current EDA Director Tiffany Lambe submitting her resignation on the 9th of April. Nasby will be providing the Board additional information on the next steps as they become available. Nasby did state the Board would need to discuss if they would like to have a commissioner participate in the process. On November 4, 2024, the final Certificates of Occupancy were issued for Apartment Buildings B, C, D, E, and F which total 50 units. On April 4, 2025, a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy was issued for 5 units in Building A. The contractor is hoping to have the corrections made and the final 5 units in Building A completed by May 15th. Currently there are 28 of the 55 units rented. Nasby went onto say that there has been a meeting set with Windom Apartments LLC to discuss the existing loan agreements, repayment terms and schedules. The board accepted the low bid from Nielsen Landscaping for the lawn care contract for Riverbluff Estates Subdivision. The Board then discussed the revision and updating of the City’s website.
