It’s on the tip of my tongue, and I’d love to tell you what was on my mind but I can’t remember! Oh wait, I know what it was TODAY is National Memory Day! It is also World Poetry Day and National Flower Day so I want to recite this beautiful Flower poem…. Ummmm… There goes my memory again… I can only hope that ALL your memories today are happy ones and that they bring a little joy to your heart.  And now I remember-

Extraordinary Flowers

Standing up

Or standing out

That’s what life

Is all about.

Passions grow

From simple seeds

And welling up

With inner needs

Flowers grow in sunshine

When weeding gives them space

Blooming in the sunlight

And warmth of nature’s grace

Winds do sway in motion

Through solitary hours

Such is the price of beauty

Of extraordinary flowers.
