Windom Women of Today held their final Red Cross Blood Drive in 2024 on the 30th of December. They were just 6 units short of their goal of 70-unit goal. There were a total of 64 units collected with 48 Whole Blood Products (from 58 donors). 8-Power Red Donors which equal 16 units and one productive product and six deferred donors. Unfortunately, there were 18 no-shows BUT thankfully there were 11 walk-ins to help fill openings. Red Cross and the Women of Today are very grateful to all the loyal donors in 2024. Every unit is so important to help give the gift of life to a person in need of blood. There were 10 first time donors and four sets of Mother/Daughter donors. One unit of blood can help save the lives of three people.
