Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office reported 25 calls in the week of December 8th to December 14th.   Deputies conducted 7 Civil Processes, worked two Suicide Threats, received a report of fraud and debris in the roadway, handled a motor assist and investigated 1 Suspicious Activity.  A full listing of all calls in the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office Weekly Citizens Report is available by clicking the link below.

Today’s meetings include:

  • Murray County Board of Commissioners will be meeting at 8:30am in the Murray County Government Center. If you would like to listen in by calling or view the meeting via zoom you can find the information on the Murray County Homepage.
  • Jackson County Board of Commissioners and the Drainage Authority will meet at 9am at the Jackson County Court House Commissioners Board Room
  • The Cottonwood County Board of Commissioners at 9:00am at the Cottonwood County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room.
  • The St James City Council will meet at 5:30pm in James City Hall – Council Chambers. Meetings can be viewed live or anytime on the City of St James’s YouTube Channel.
  • The Windom City Council at 6:30 pm at Windom City Hall in the City Council Chambers. Meetings can be viewed live or anytime on the City of Windom’s YouTube Channel.

Fulda City Council will be holding a Special Council meeting on Wednesday, December 18th at 5pm. The agenda will include discussion on the Preliminary budget that was set not to exceed 10% but after insurance rates were received the budget is at 6.31%. The 2025 Fee Schedule, Garage Door Openers in the City Shop and Sanitary Sewer are also to be discussed and a proposal for the Fire Department Pagers.

Red Rock Central School District Board of Education will be meeting on Wednesday December 18th at 5pm in Lamberton. At the end of regular agenda items will be a Truth in Taxation Hearing with Open Discussion after.
