The weather is cold outside but you STILL want to get out and get your steps in!! What or Where can you go??? In Windom you have a few options. The Windom Area Schools invite you to walk the halls from 6:45am to 7:30am or 3:45am to 6:30pm. All you need to do is check in at the office to get a Hall Walking Pass and have it on you while you walk. The BARC is another option to get those steps in too. When you go into the BARC building, there is a sign in sheet on the credenza. You are asked to sign in and then out once you complete your trek! IF you are curious of distance the BARC has a map available that shows two options indicating miles walked. The BARC building is usually opened by 8am and closing time is between 4pm and 5pm depending on scheduled activities. You are asked to stay out of closed areas and if you turn lights on to remember to turn them off when you are done. You can call either place for more information if needed. Just remember it is a privilege to be invited into these two buildings to get your step on! Be kind and courteous and appreciate the space! NOW get out of the house and get your steps in!
