Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office reported 42 calls in the week of November 17th to November 23rd.  Deputies conducted 17 Civil Processes, handled 2 Assault Calls, had 2 Public Assists, investigated 3 Burglary’s and conducted 3 Traffic Stops. Windom Police Department reported a Domestic Assault on the 23rd at 8:12pm in the 700 block of 12th Street. After investigation, an arrest was made of a 25-year-old Windom Male for Domestic Assault, possible Gross Misdemeanor for a subsequent violation, pending review by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reported 30 calls from November 18th to the 24th. Deputies handled calls dealing with burglaries, scams, vehicle issues, welfare checks and assists for medical and traffic calls. A deputy and the Heron Lake Fire Department responded to a semi on fire on MN 60 east of Heron Lake. Crews were on scene for about 15 minutes. For a full listing of all calls click the link below.

Lights will be lit at the Village till January 1st for a drive-through view. The Windom Toy Show will be at the Windom Community Center on Saturday, November 30th from 9am to 3pm and Sunday, December 1st from 9am to 2pm. Everything from Farm Toys, cars, trucks and various collectables will kick your Holiday Spirit into gear. Concessions will be available for purchase. It’s going to be too cold to stay outside this weekend so come in out of the cold and see all the cool toys you can imagine. Admission is just $3.
