The Mountain Lake Police Department reported 6 calls in the week of November 5th to November 7th. An officer assisted in the mediation of a property dispute and assisted another agency with a report of a wrong way driver on Highway 60 at intersection of County Road 1. The officer stopped the 2007 Ford Expedition and counseled a 58-year-old female from Mt Lake. A letter with a warning was issued to a resident for an ordination violation. An officer assisted another agency with apprehension of a Mountain Lake Juvenile and took a report of someone dumping a dryer on their property. An officer responded to a disturbance in which the officer handled the misunderstanding.

It is opening night for the Windom Area High School Fall Musical 9 to 5. This play is guaranteed to entertain with great music and hilarious content. The cast and crew are made up of 27 students. There will be three shows Tonight, Friday and Saturday all starting at 7pm in the Windom Area High School Lecture Hall Theater. Tickets can be purchased online or by contacting the high school office at 507-831-6910. This show will be fun for all ages with upbeat music and acting.

Big and Exciting Happenings are taking place at Red Rock Central School on November 22nd. The Red Rock Central School District is inviting the public to come for an Open House from 5pm-7pm. There will be an opportunity to tour the new classrooms and new commons area. Come for the tour, come for the meal that they will be serving AND then stay and cheer on the Red Rock Central Girls basketball team as they take on Yellow Medicine East in the new gym.
