Today is President’s Day. It’s just not a reason for businesses to be closed. If you didn’t know, President’s Day is officially our First President’s George Washington, Birthday which is February 22nd. In the late 1870’s it became a federal holiday and is celebrated on the third Monday of February to honor all persons who served in the office of president of the United States but specifically honors George Washington, who led the Continental Army to victory in the American Revolutionary War. History IS IMPORTANT… And today is a good day to eat cake and raise a glass to those that have lead our beautiful Nation as THE elected leader.
