The St. James Police Department’s new Firearms Simulator they received in June is installed and ready to be used. Three representatives from the Police department have been trained on how to run and present simulations to officers and agencies in the area. This simulator was part of a $160,000.00 grant that the St James Police Department received from the federal government last year. This simulator will allow officers to further develop their skills with regards to de-escalation techniques, decision making, and firearms accuracy.
