The Little Soaring Eagles summer school was held for the whole month of June at Highland Early Childcare Center.
Recently the staff at the Cottonwood County Soil & Water Conservation District got to check out some lake shore restoration projects, specifically Fish Lake. A Cottonwood County Soil & Water Conservation District representative said it was seeded with native plants to improve water quality and wildlife habitats and so far, the plants seem to be growing well and landowners have put in work to restore the lakeshore.
