Okabena 4th of July Celebration
Windom Area Health Chief Financial Officer John Peyerl recently gave an update on the hospital’s financials…
Peyerl said everything with the audit is going well and Windom Area Health had a good year…
Peyerl said this part of the year is stressful because he puts in a lot of hours and a lot of things must come together, but it only happens once a year and it’s the work he likes to do as part of his job.
As we head into the heat of the Summer and especially the 4th of July holiday, law enforcement will begin to patrol more heavily across the state. Cottonwood County Sherriff Jason Purrington says motorists need to slow down…
Purrington says law enforcement won’t just pull over random vehicles, but it’ll be because of speed related reasons…
Purrington stresses that motorists shouldn’t just slow down for the month of July while their Zero towards Death program is in effect but should slow down no matter what time of the year it is, plus drivers should make other safe driving decisions like don’t drink and drive and reduce any distracted driving behaviors.
