Right now, the Windom Middle School/High School Leadership Team is working on the student handbook for the 2023-2024 school year. The goal is to have those new student attendance and discipline policies in place for the 2023-2024 school year within the next few weeks so the school can communicate the changes in the policy to both students and parents during orientation in August. The new attendance policy will focus on making sure students are physically in class and the discipline policy will reflect trying to get students to attend more of their classes in person while also getting students into their classroom on time.

Windom Area Schools has their Summer Cross Country Camp next week for athletes entering grades 7-12 who’d like to participate in running cross country in the fall of 2023. Training for this camp includes basic running, swimming, and biking activities. The camp will run from 8am-9:30am starting Monday, July 17th – Friday, July 21st at the Windom High School track.
