Nasby said Premium Iowa Pork is in town and they’re excited to work with the Windom community. They would like to take about 60 days to inventory and conduct an evaluation of the facility. Once they do, Premium Iowa Pork will come up with some plans and share those plans with the community.
This July, Laura Ingalls has an all-new family adventure. The Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant is presenting “Chasing the Dream” at Walnut Grove on the banks of Plum Creek. It’s an outdoor drama the second, third, and fourth weekend in July about the early life of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Laura will narrate her story, reflecting on her life in Walnut Grove in the 1870’s. Refreshments will be available at the concession stand and the grounds will be sprayed for mosquitoes.
