Murray and Pipestone County Cattlemen Associations will be hosting the Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Summer Beef Tour and Trade Show July 17th and 18th. There will be a tour of eight different farm stops in Murray and Pipestone counties, highlighting the cutting edge in beef production. Mountain Lake is celebrating 100 years of Pow Wow fun this year. Pow Wow starts today and runs through Tuesday, June 20th. Festivities start tonight with the Miss & Little Miss Mountain Lake Pageant starting at 7pm at the Mountain Lake Auditorium. Tickets to the pageant are $7 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.

On June 14th, 2023 at 10:08am, the Windom Police Department received a report of a theft from a Windom resident in the 1400 block of 5th Ave. The report indicates a kids black 20’” Huffy bike was taken outside of the residence from the sidewalk between 5:30pm and 8:30pm.
