Mary Lou Jackels, 92, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 20, 2023, under care of hospice. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2023, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2023, also at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Storden, Minnesota.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeff (Linda) Jackels of Alcester, David (Patty) Jackels of Sioux Falls, Aimee (Michael) Kizziar of Sacramento, CA, and Julie (Guy) Faber of Brandon; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren; siblings-in-law, Duane (Carol) Jackels of Winona, MN, LaVerne (Marlene) Jackels of Storden, MN, LeAnn (Art) Steere of Windom, MN and Donna (Skip) Torres.
