Ok so I am going to sound a little cranky but I really don’t care if you like the snow or not. I am not a fan. It really isn’t up for discussion in my mind. Ever since we moved here every single winter season there has been “Unusual and Record Breaking” Winters. I really am not usually one to complain much but COME ON!!!! The older I get the less I like the snow and ice. I took our incredibly energized puppy which, if you ever have a notion to get a puppy after having the worlds greatest mutt that graced us with love and affection and easy slow pace for 17 years… CALL ME FIRST!!!! I will not say don’t get a dog, but I will tell you that if you are over 55 years old, think about gracing an older dog with your home… AND NEVER GET A puppy at the end of OCTOBER when you live in Minnesota because the winters don’t really lend to GO OUT AND RUN!!!! Our new energizer pup is Otis… He loves the snow, he loves to run, he has a beautifully thick coat of fur that makes him like being out doors… Otis is a good boy, but doggone it… I truly can hardly wait till all this snow and ice are gone… I am going to have a broken hip before Spring if this continues… At least the pup comes back and licks my face when I bite it on the ice… I really don’t think he is concerned that I am down for the count but more to get up and lets keep going…. It’s the 24th of February only 24 more days till the official first day of Spring… I just hope and pray all this ice and snow is melted by then! Oh and just so you know…. Today is National Tartar Sauce Day- Not a fan but I love fish… It’s Skip the Straw day… Gulp that drink today and it is National Tortilla Day, I was going to tell you all about my two daughter-in-laws that if there was ever a chips and salsa competition they would beat anyone in their way talk about a love affair with a chip… BUT I thought it better to just complain about the weather… I am getting old enough it is legal for me to do so EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!! Stay warm, Stay Upright, and Stay inside if you don’t have to go out!!!
