Just a reminder most schools are back in session tomorrow January 3rd. Please watch out for students coming back from the holiday and remember it is illegal to pass a school bus with its lights flashing or if the STOP SIGN is extended.

Cottonwood County Board of Commissioners will be meeting Tuesday January 3rd at 9am in the Cottonwood County Courthouse in Windom.

Jackson County Board of Commissioners and Drainage Authority will hold their meeting Tuesday January 3rd at 9am in the Jackson County Courthouse Commissioners Board Room.

The Jeffers City Council met in regular session on December 13th. The Council approved the 2023 Ambulance Contract with Westbrook Ambulance. They also, adopted the lien for unpaid charges, Designating polling place for 2022, Approving the 2023 Tax Levy, and approving the final budget for 2023. The first meeting of 2023 will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 6 p.m.
