The Cottonwood County Sheriffs Office reported they had a total of 91 calls the week of December 4th to the 10th. There were 17 traffic stops, one accident without injury two assists with vehicles off road, two trespasses, 22 predatory offender checks and 17 Civil processes. A full listing is attached

The Redwood County Sheriffs Office handled a one vehicle roll over on US Highway 14 and Garden Ave on December 17th at approximately 6am. A 41-year-old woman was driving he 2009 Toyota Corella eastbound on US Highway 14 when the Toyota went into a skid causing her to lose control of the vehicle. The Toyota came to rest in the South Ditch on its side. There were no injuries reported.

Beginning the first of January, Windom Area Schools will be partnering with Windom Area Health to provide sports medicine services to student athletes during B Squad, JV and Varsity Home Games. Windom Area Health will provide staff such as a physical therapist, athletic trainer, nurse practitioner, or doctor of medicine services to administer first aid and emergency care, taping, injury evaluation, and follow-up care coordination, if requested. The two entities are excited to partner up and provide another level of care to students in the community. It is a huge win for the student athletes and athletic programs.
