It’s National Potato Day!!! You know you love them so why not celebrate them today. Whether they are baked, fried or mashed- potatoes have a way of just making a meal better. Although a starchy carbohydrate a potato has no fat and is loaded with Vitamin C and Potassium. All I can say is MR and MRS Potato Head were favorites of my kids for many many years… I believe the potato deserves this day! So even if you don’t want to eat one today, heat it up and toss it and have a quick game of HOT POTATO… And to cool down after a hot game be sure to enjoy some soft serve ice-cream. YEP, it is also National Soft Serve Ice Cream Day I looked it up and did you know that as of the year 2021 there are 20 ice cream days on the calendar. Most of these land in July which is also National Ice Month but I for one am going to celebrate a cool creamy goodness. I am just thankful for the day!!! Ice-cream rules…
