A Mountain Lake Family of a 3-year-old Siberian Husky is looking for answers and justice for their beloved dog. At approximately 1pm on December 15th Kyra, the Husky- was found shot dead two doors down from her owners’ household. Mountain Lake Police were contacted immediately, and the case remains open. The family is in mourning over the callus way Kyra was taken from them. According to owner, Kendra Sanchez there aren’t a lot of clues as to what took place, but it appears that Kyra was definitely shot with the intent to kill. Sanchez says Kyra was such a happy and free-spirited dog and they loved her deeply. There is a $700 dollar reward at this time for anyone with information that can lead to an arrest.
IF you have any information, please contact the Mountain Lake Police Department at 507-427-2999 ext 2.
