Region 13-C – Championship Series

Fri, Aug 13:  gm #2 – Luverne Redbirds 9, Milroy Irish 6

Luverne wins series 2 gms to none.  Luverne will be the #1 seed from the Region at the State Amateur Baseball Tournament and receive a bye in the 1st round.  Milroy will be the #2 seed out of the Region.  

3rd-Place Series:

Sat, Aug 14:  gm #2 – Windom Pirates at Hadley Buttermakers – Pirates lead series 1 gm to none.

the winner of the series will go to State as the #3 seed out of the Region.

Region 2-C Playoffs –

Fri, Aug 13 at Springfield  (losers bracket)

Hanska Lakers 12, Courtland Cubs 7      (Hanska qualifies for the State tournament)

Sat, Aug 14:  at New Ulm

Hanska Lakers vs Stark Longhorns  1pm   (loser is #3 seed for State)

winner of 1st game will play the New Ulm Brewers in the Championship Round.

If New Ulm Wins, they take the #1 Seed to State.  If the other team wins, a final game will be played Sunday in Springfield.
