the winner of the series goes to the State Amateur Baseball Tournament as the #3 seed out of the Region.

Championship Series

Luverne Redbirds 3, Milroy Irish 2 (10 innings)  –  Luverne leads series 1 gm to None

(gm #2 Friday evening at Milroy)

Both teams will go to state.  The winner of the series is the #1 seed out of the Region and receives a bye in the 1st round.  the Loser is the #2 seed and will play on the opening weekend of the State Tournament.
