LOCAL SPORTS   —   State Track results     6/19/21 
 
The Class ‘A’ State Track meet was held Friday at St. Michael-Albertville High School.  
 
Checking results for local athletes: 
 
GIRLS: 
From Windom:  Delaney Smith took 1st place in the Shotput and 2nd in the Discus.   Gracie Bucher did not place in the 400. 
 
From Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda:  Morgan Gehl finished 2nd in the 1600 and 3rd in the 800.  Samantha Untiedt did not place in the 100 Hurdles. 
 
Among Other results: 
From SW Christian/Edgerton:  Kaitlyn Schuur was 2nd in the Pole Vault.  Anna Suda did not place in the 100.  Braelyn Kracht did not place in the 100 Hurdles.   SWC/Edg was 9th in the 4×200 Relay. 
From Murray County Central:   Amanda Overgaauw was 3rd in the 3200.   The Rebels were 5th in the 4×800 Relay. 
From Hills-Beaver Creek:  Taryn Rauk did not place in the 200.    HBC did not place in the 4×100 Relay 
From Jackson County Central: Peyton Hanson did not place in the Pole Vault. 
From Luverne: Tenley Nelson was 5th in the 3200.  Jenna DeBates was 6th in the 3200.  Regan Feit did not place in the 300 Hurdles.  Grace Zewiske was 7th in the 400.   Jocelyn Hart was 5th in the Shotput.   Luverne was 1st in the 4×800 Relay and 5th in the 4×400 Relay.     They did not place in the 4×200 Relay.   
From Redwood Valley: Hannah Schjenken did not place in the 100, did not place in the Long Jump or the Triple Jump.   RV did not place in the 4×100 Relay. 
 
 
 
BOYS: 
From Windom:  Dylan Serreyn did not place in the High Jump, clearing 6’0” for the day. 
 
From Mt Lake Area-Comfrey:  Kody Wassman finished in 17th place in the 3200 Thursday evening. 
 
Among other results: 
From SW Christian/Edgerton: Micah Schaap was 2nd in the Long Jump, 3rd in the Triple Jump and 5th in the 400.  SWC did not place in the 4×400 Relay. 
From Hills-Beaver Creek: Tyson Bork did not place in the 200.    HBC was 6th in the 4×100 Relay. 
From Jackson County Central:  Trevin Gaustad did not place in the 110 Hurdles.   Ridge VanWesten did not place in the 300 Hurdles.  
From Tracy-Milroy-Balaton:  Tony Nelson was 1st in the Shotput and 8th in the Discus. 
From Redwood Valley:  Maverick Goblirsch was 6th in the 100.  Mason Clark did not place in the 800.  RV was 9th in the 4×200 Relay. They did not place in the 4×100 Relay. 
From Luverne:  Ashton Sandbulte was 3rd in the 100.  Camden Janiszeski did not place in the 1600.   Eli Radtke did not place in the Pole Vault.   Luverne was 5th in the 4×200 Relay and 8th in the 4×400 Relay. 
From Pipestone:  Aiden Voss was 7th in the 110 Hurdles. 
St. James was 8th in the 4×800 Relay.
