LOCAL SPORTS  —   red rock conf cc 
 
The Red Rock Conference held its Conference Cross-Country meet on Monday. 
 
In the Boys team standings, Mt Lake Area-Comfrey/Red Rock Central won with 24 points. Murray County Central/Fulda was 2nd with 71 points; Heron Lake-Okabena was 3rd with 83 points; Adrian-Ellsworth was 4th with 87 points, and SW MN Christian/Edgerton was 5th with 106 points. 
 
The top 10 runners in each race earned all-conference honors. 
 
Sam Pidde of MLAC-RRC was the Boys medalist in 17:31. 
 
For MLAC-RRC:  Kody Wassman 3rd, Zach Klassen 4th, Kaleb Eickhoff 6th, Luke Klassen 10th. 
 
For MCC-F:  Isaiah Kathman 7th, Caleb Appel 13th, Carter Benda 15th, Evan Bumgardner 16th, Silas Stapek 20th. 
 
For HLO:  Tim Salentiny 2nd, Paul Salentiny 5th, Joshua Eigenberg 18th, Thomas Bartosh 25th, Trevor Bass 33rd. 
 
 
In the Girls Team Standings, 
 
Murray County Central/Fulda won the team title with 18 points.  SW MN Christian/Edgerton was 2nd with 39 points; Mt Lake Area-Comfrey/Red Rock Central 3rd with 86 points; Adrian-Ellsworth 4th with 112 points; and Heron Lake-Okabena 5th with 138 points. 
 
Ashley Overgaauw of MCC-F was the medalist in 17:59. 
 
For MCC-F:  Amanda Overgaauw was 2nd; Morgan Gehl 3rd; Josie Harms 5th; and Victoria Pierson 7th. 
 
For MLAC-RRC:  Anika Fast 13th, Riley Schroeder 16th, Kate Janzen 17th, Lydia Rete 19th, Jacey Klassen 21st. 
 
For HLO:  Renae Salentiny 24th, Mackenzie Ehlers 26th, Skylar Fisher 28th,  Brooklyn Fisher 29th, Tayor Fisher 31st. 
 
Ethan Rahn of MLAC-RRC won the Boys Junior High Race. 
 
Julia Brinkman of MLAC-RRC was 4th in the Girls Junior High Race. 
 
The Section 3A Cross-Country meet will be held on Thursday, October 15th in Luverne.
