Covid-19 Updates – Windom HS and County Recorder’s Office

The Windom School district has reported another lab-confirmed case of covid-19 in a member of the Middle-High School Community.  The individual was at school with possible exposure on October 12th through the 14th.  The person who tested positive has been advised to isolate.   The Windom School District is working with the State Department of Health to identify and notify anyone who has had close contact with the infected person.   People who are not notified should still monitor for any symptoms of illness.  If symptoms develop, contact your health-care provider.

the Cottonwood County Recorder’s office will be closed until at least November 4th due to employee exposure to a positive case of Covid-19.  The office will be closed to follow C-D-C guidelines on quarantine and isolation.  Anyone who had an appointment at the County Recorder’s office will need to reschedule.  The State Department of Health and Des Moines Valley Health and Human Services are handling the contact tracing for the positive case of Covid-19.   If you have recently visited the County Recorder’s office, you will be contacted by MDH or DMVHHS if you have had close contact.   If you are not contacted, you do not need to quarantine, but you should monitor for symptoms.  Cottonwood County will inform the public when the County Recorder’s office will be able to re-open for business.
