LOCAL SPORTS   —     state amateur baseball       9/8/20 
 
The Minnesota Class “C” State Amateur Baseball tournament wrapped up this weekend. 
 
On Monday, the State Championship game was played at Riverside Park in Springfield.  
 
The Fairmont Martins won the State Title with a 12-0 victory over the St. Patrick Irish in 7 innings. 
 
The Fairmont team included two players from the Windom Pirates who were drafted by Fairmont after the Region playoffs  – Collin Lovell and Ross Ackerman.
