The Cottonwood County Historical Society is hosting their Annual Fall Fundraiser on Monday, September 15th from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the museum in Windom. Guests can enjoy the traditional meal of roast beef on a bun with coleslaw, baked beans, potato chips, and a cookie. Both dine-in and drive-thru pickup options will be available, with drive-thru service at the south door. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Pre-sale tickets are available at the museum or at the door the night of the event. The museum is located at 812 Fourth Avenue in Windom. For more information, call 507-831-1134. Supplemental funds for the event are provided by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

It is Friday!!! Can you believe that we actually made it to the end of the week? Everyone should be back in office- semi-on-track, blurried eyed and ready to roll, Monday Morning! We truly do appreciate all the cooperation and grace lent this past week! While we are cheering for surviving the week, lets throw in three cheers to celebrate National Police Woman Day. Lets honor the strength , dedication and service of women in law enforcement. To all the incredible women protecting our communities thank you for everything you do. Today is also National Day of Encouragement so I would like to encourage you to raise your straw to National Chocolate Milk Shake Day!!!
