Next Week KDOM will be holding a Mayor Debate LIVE on October 7th at 10am on 1580AM/103.1FM. We will be taking questions from the public for the three Mayor candidates- Current Mayor Dominic Jones, City Councilwoman Jenny Quade and Windom Business Owner Hilary Mathis to present during the forum. Today, Windom Area Health’s Emergency Room Entrance will be moving temporarily to the East Side of the Hospital. If the Weather temperatures hold up and stay above 50 degrees the new parking lot can be completed at the earliest by the end of November but if temperatures drop, it will be put on hold till Spring of 2025. Please watch for signage to navigate to the temporary ER Entrance. Windom Family Medical Center patients will enter the door to the right of the current entrance and reserved parking space will be on the other side of the East parking lot to make room for ER entrance parking. The ER door will be staffed 24/7 until the original ER entrance is reopened. A map of the new entrances is available on KDOM’s Website under Local Headline News, on the Windom Area Health Webpage and on other social media platforms.
