Oh, my goodness!!! Today’s news is brought to you by YOU!!! I am taking a break from who did what and where and what is coming up because I am humbled at the response we had at our End of the Summer Appreciation Barbeque. We ran out of burgers and had just a couple packs of hot dogs left. Yep, from our count we served approximately 332 burgers and dogs!!!
What I thought of while I was looking around at all the people is we are so blessed to have our listening community. Not kidding you, there were visitors enjoying the evening from Windom, Mt Lake, Westbrook, Trimont, Worthington, and I want to say St James or maybe it was Butterfield- sorry if I didn’t mention the town you represented. There were so many people that I talked to- putting names to faces is the best!
The crowd was amazing, and I have to give a plug to BARC for the picnic table rentals!!! WHAT A BLESSING it is to have that service in our reach. Honestly, I am amazed at all the different things they offer but I do know the picnic tables make everything so much more cohesive. We gave away t-shirts, had some great laughs and a few hugs (those are my favorite) and drumroll the winner of the pair of Twins Tickets is Kirk Boyer. KDOM Prize Pack Winners are Sheryl Urman and Terry Burmeister and the winner for the Advertising Package for Businesses was Carmen’s Critter Wash…. Winners will be contacted by ME… sometime today for pick up information!
