Deputies conducted 10 Civil Processes, had 4 Motorist Assists, handled 2 Theft Calls, performed 9 Predatory Offender Checks, had 2 concerns for welfare checks and conducted 27 Traffic Stops. Windom Police Department reported on the 14th at 2:57 pm there was a two vehicle no injury accident in the Lewis Drug Parking lot. On the 15th officers handled a domestic Assault in the 1400 block of 2nd Ave for a mother who hit her daughter in the face, and both were arguing. Upon arrival the officer noticed a female standing outside of the residence and asked what was going on. The Female from Windom informed the officer that she got into a fight with her daughter over a vape that she found in her daughter’s things. After further investigation. an arrest was made of the 37-year-old female for Domestic Assault, pending review by the prosecuting Attorney Office.
