It’s Friday and it is the 16th day of August… What’s so great about this day? Well it is my Mom’s 91st Birthday today.. She doesn’t think this is THAT big of a deal and tells everyone she is only 79… BUT I think it is pretty awesome to be clicking another year on the ol’ calendar. My mom is a little nutty but I think I will keep her. Happy Birthday Mom!! Three cheers for at least another 9years so we can click a century on the ol’ ticker counter!!!!

Today is National Tell a Joke Day… So if you are me YOU KNOW that it is like a favorite day to celebrate with my Sweet Henry… He keeps me on my toes so to kick the celebration off… Who’s the Queen of the Pencil Box?…. “The Ruler”
I am chuckling as I pull my flowered tiki hut shirt on so that I can also participate in National Hawaiian Shirt Day today!!! My shirts are as wild and crazy as they use to be, but they still give me that extra Aloha feeling… I am visiting with my Darcy Girl and my Chillaxin’ Theo who I may add is on the verge of walking!!! I am guessing before his mamma and daddy get back I’ll be having him running up and down the halls… The kid is into everything! But today I am teaching him to say HEY HEY HEY!!! Why you ask? Because it is National Kool-Aide Day too!!! Theo kinda reminds me of the Kool-Aide Guy because he is big and awkward in his movements!!! Bull in a china cabinet is a great description!!! I had to laugh when I saw it was ALSO National Rum Day and Work from Home Day… You think the two are celebrated coincidentally???? As my bucket of Sunshine James would say… that ALSO goes along with today’s theme… I’m just YOKING… It’s a fantastic day to just enjoy life and get caught up in a 3 year olds ideology. Because for some reason we are needing to listen to a podcast to help the horsey’s knee because the doctor is not in.. AND Jammies are overrated… and one more from Sweet Henry… “Where does the fish keep his money? The Riverbank!!!!”
