Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reported on the 22nd around Noon Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in Jackson. After investigating, a 26 year old male from Jackson was arrested for DUI. On the 23rd at approximately 9pm a deputy responded to a child custody dispute. And on the 24th at 7:16 AM A deputy responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a farmyard in Round Lake Township. The caller reported a pickup was running and occupied with a male driver who appeared to be passed out. The Worthington Ambulance was paged to the scene for precautionary purposes. After investigating, a 29 year old male from Heron Lake was arrested for DUI.

Windom Area Health is offering a First Aid and CPR Training Course on Thursday April 4th in Mountain Lake. Thursday March 28th is the deadline to register. The course will be taught at the Mountain Lake Public School Library on April 4th from 5-8pm. The Course will offer both video and hands-on training including First Aid, CPR, and a variety of emergency situations!
