2023 was a busy year for the Windom Ambulance. According to the report submitted there were a total of 1,110 run logs filled out. 357 Transfers, 81 other facilities including- airport, nursing home, assisted living, patient homes. 25 cancelled calls, 83 No transports inculuding Lift Assists, Treat and Release, Refused Transports. 51 Stand-Bys/Public Assists including Fire Calls LE Assists. 6 Community Events including parades, Concerts, Farm and Home to name a few. There were 513 local patient transports. Transfers included 290 to Sioux Falls, 15 to Worthington, 12 to Mankato, 13 to Marshall, 1 to New Ulm, 9 to Rochester, 2 to St Peter, 12 to the Twin Cities Area and 3 to Fargo ND. Total Mileage was 75,407.70 miles. The Windom Ambulance averaged 3.04 calls per day in 2023.

The upcoming One Act Play contests are to be held at Redwood Valley High School in Redwood Falls in the next few weeks.
The subsection 9 contest will be held on January 27th at the Estebo Performing Arts Center beginning at 10:30 a.m. Participating Schools include BOLD/RCW, Murray County Central, Red Rock Central, Redwood Valley, Wabasso, and Westbrook-Walnut Grove. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
The Section 3A contest will be held on February 3rd at the Estebo Performing Arts Center beginning at 10:30 a.m. Eight advancing schools from subsection contests will compete for an opportunity to perform at the State One Act Play Festival on Thursday, February 8.
